1) How about American Idol? I must be honest and say that I didn't expect Kris to be in the final 3, but good for him. Time for some hyper-local coverage from the newspapers of the contestants left on Idol:

Kris - Log Cabin Democrat - Conway, AR.
Danny - Journal-Sentinel - Milwaukee, WI
Adam - San Diego Union-Tribune - San Diego, CA

Next week, they go back to the hometowns of the final 3. Then Tuesday, each will sing 2 songs. One of them a judges choice and the other a personal favorite. Best of luck.

2) Manny Ramirez, of the Dodgers has been suspended for 50 games for using a banned substance. Details from the LA Times. How stupid can someone be to use crap like this. And supposedly, one person said that he was using a woman's fertility drug. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
