As you know the FCC is now telling stations that even though they want to switch to all digital on the 17th, they can't. The FCC says that they have to prove without any doubt that there will be no customers inconvienced by the switch.
Well, the Assoicated Press now has an article in where it lists the stations who will not comply with the FCC order and still go digital on the 17th. The only SusquValley stations that are going all digital on the 17th is WITF, the PBS station, and WLYH, the CW station. All the rest, are waiting til June. Amazingly though, to our northeast the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area, the ABC, CBS and NBC stations are all going digital. It must be because of the tower damage they had from a ice storm last winter.
Anyway, make sure you check this list. Is your station on it? If it is, make sure you get your converter box, now.
