FOLLOWING A BRIEF PERIOD OF SNOW AND SLEET...A PROLONGED PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN...MIXED WITH SLEET AT TIMES...MAY RESULT IN A SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATION OF UP TO A QUARTER INCH ACROSS THE WATCH AREA.

A WINTER STORM WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOW... SLEET...OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS THAT MAY IMPACT TRAVEL.
