DEVELOPING STORY: NYC plane emergency lands in Hudson River

In a still developing story, but a story with a relieved outcome ... A US Airways flight en route from Laguardia to Charlotte, made a emergency landing in the Hudson River, when what was described as a 'birdstrike' affected the plane.

The plane made a emergency landing, and all people from the plane have been safely evacuated and had been accounted for.
