Newsbrief: 1/22/2009

Good afternoon.

Looks like we are about to warm out out there, with highs possibly in the lower 40's by tomororw. Gonna be good to feel that.

Some news and bits for you this Thursday afternoon:

Every presidential administration has some trouble getting adjusted to the new White House. When 43 came into the White House, his aids found the 'W' key missing from the keyboard. Well, now the Obama administration has trouble adjusting as well. The Washington Post reports in this story that looks like the Bush administration was so backwards with technology. Computers as old as 6-years-old, among other things. Well, that time is over now, eh?

Congratulations go to The Patriot-News here in Harrisburg. Their Obama front page from the day after the November historic election has been showcased in a good book showcasing the best front pages from the Nov. 5th newspapers. The Patriot-News was chosen as one of 75 newspapers nationally and internationally to be inside this historic book. I am putting a link here from Barnes & Noble. For only $12, a good deal. Again, congrats to The Patriot-News.

And finally, looks like Caroline Kennedy has decided to bow out of the closed race to replace Hilary Clinton as the Senator from the state of New York. Maybe that is not a good thing. This person needs to be well known, and frankly, even though she is a Kennedy, America don't know her all that too well.

Have a great day.
