Good morning.

Time for today's 10.

Story 1:
As if it could be anyone else, Time magazine has chosen their annual 'Person of the Year'.  This year, President-Elect Barack Obama.  Story from KAIT-TV Jonesboro, AR.

Story 2:
Another bad holiday criminal story this time from Pittsburgh's WTAE-TV.  A mother forced her 13-year old daughter to steal from a Wal-Mart.

Story 3:
Some people are just ignorant to tolerance and this story is no exception.  Mothers are asking some stores to remove a baby doll that says, "Islam is the light".  Story from WFTS-TV Tampa, FL.

Story 4:
The pope might be right on this one.  The pope believes the economic crisis that we are in brings the simplicity of Christmas and the holiday season.  Details from WHBF-TV Rock Island, IL.

Story 5:

Story 6:

Story 7:

Story 8:
First, California said no-no to talking on your celly while driving.  Well now steps are being taken to ban texting while driving.  Details from The Californian - Salinas, CA.

Story 9:
Earlier this week, I told you that Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas was saying that "Santa Will Take You To Hell."  Ok, that was one extreme to dissing Santa Claus.  Now, another extreme.  Santa was delivering presents to children, when Santa got a parking ticket.  Yes, a parking ticket for doing good.  Story and details from Danville Register & Bee - Danville, VA.

And before I let ya go for this morning .... a quick weather update.  Looks like the precip is done falling.  Roads look wet.  Cars still glazed with ice and sleet.  And our active weather patter is not done yet.  Another winter event happens Friday and perhaps a bigger event for Sunday into Monday.  Stay tuned.
