Story 6:
I really didn't want to post this story b/c of the religious holiday Christmas coming up this week, but this needs to be mentioned.  The Pope has said that the 'gay threat' is severe to this nation.  Perhaps as much so as global warming and saving the rainforest.  Story from BBC News.  Explain to me how this is a threat .... please.  What a intolerant fool.

Diversity in action ... that is the point of this story.  Looks like Christmas is not being celebrated at some schools.  Yeah, they mention the traditions and such, but some are leaving the religious parts out.  Story from The Register-Citizen - Torrington, CT.

Looks like billboards are being sprouted up along the Kansas City metro area.  The point?  To educate people to the positive sides to the Islamic faith.  Details from KSHB-TV Kansas City, MO.

Story 13:
There is talk that the 'prince of pop' Michael Jackson is seriously ill.  Word is that he is blind in one eye and has a genetic disorder.  His spokesman however, denies such talk.  Story from Detroit Free Press - Detroit, MI.

Story 14:
A atheist has sued Christians and Jewish people.  Why? Because they have their own holidays and atheists don't.  Details from Early County News - Blakely, GA.

Story 15:
Earlier I posted a story about the backwardness of the Pope when it comes to acceptance.  Now, looks like they back a 'iPrayer' application for the iPhone/iPod Touch.  Story from ABC News.

Have a great rest of the evening.
