10 Stories .... 12/8/08

With Google Reader back up and running, I will try my best to get these 10 stories out as fast as I can ...

Story 1 ...
From KTRK-TV in Houston ..... Could Oprah have a job in the Obama administration?  She says no, just a rumor.

Story 2 ...
Diners at a Pittsburgh area Waffle House are creating a reality show at their favorite place to eat .... this from WPXI-TV.

Story 3 ...
Looks like the economy isn't hurting this man.  He is spending $7,500 to fight a $115 ticket.  Your dose of stupidity from WWMT-TV in Kalamazoo, MI.

Story 4 ...
Talk about a field trip they will never forget.  Future field trips to the morgue are done and over with after high school students were allowed to view an autopsy.  This from WHBF-TV in Rock Island, Illinois.

Story 5 ...
They tell you to say 'cheese' and 'smile' while having your picture taken right?  Well not at the DMV in Indiana.  This story from WAVE-TV in Louisville, KY.

Story 6 ...
In another media letdown and continued signs of a economic depression, Tribune Co., might consider bankruptcy.  This will have HUGE impact here as well, as our local FOX station WPMT is owned by Tribune.  This story from The Orange County Register, Santa Ana, CA.

Story 7 ...
Sometimes just saying sorry can do a lot.  How true in Grand Rapids, MI.  Looks like they are trying out a new program in where if you apologize for your non-violent crime, you may not have to go to jail.  This story from Grand Rapids Press, Grand Rapids, MI.

Story 8 ...
The end of the Bush nightmare is coming to an end.  Some say, that Bush is finally being allowed to do what he wants, without the V.P. always looking over his shoulder.  The most evident showing of this was shown when Mr. Bush kissed BARBARA STREISAND on the cheek.  Innocent sure, but right wing nuts will go crazy over this story from The Coastal Current Weekly, South Padre Island, TX.

Story 9 ...
One thing you will find true about my blog is that I have no tolerance for stupid people.  And I love stupid people and stupid criminal stories.  A 20 year old guy burned himself when he mixed chemicals together.  This story from Detroit Free Press, Detroit, MI.

Story 10 ...
And finally, let's look forward to New Year's Eve.  The artist lineup has been announced for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve.  Story from The Sacramento Bee, Sacramento, CA.

Again, sorry for today's late posting.  Have a great day!
